Dance competition season is coming fast upon us, and Brooke had a chance to show her stuff on Friday along with the rest of the dance teams where she goes. It was fun getting to watch all of the dances, and Brooke did a super great job! Amazingly, Grayson even sat through everything pretty well.
Rolling back the week, it's warming up so it's time to get out in the garden. Fortunately, Monica has a lot of helpers. Grayson and Winry had a fun time spreading out some compost and planting seeds to help Monica get things going.
I heard a cry for help while I was working and found one of my grandkids in a rough state. A triple poop and sick! Good thing I came to the rescue.
Back up to Brooke's dance, Winry had dance class after school and we had to hustle over to Brooke's performance quick quick quick after. I sat in the car with Grayson and Winry so that we could eat dinner before heading in to watch Brooke dance.
And inside we got to see Brooke's dance for the first time (or at least the first time I saw it)! She did incredible!
On Saturday Brooke had an intensive, and at the end they showed us all a little dance. She had a load of fun.
And that evening Winry had a birthday party that was at Pinballz. She had a lot of fun cruising the arcade and trying out different games. She even played some pinball.
At one point everyone was over at the bumper cars and wanted to go in. For the most part everyone was just wandering wherever, but the whole group did do bumper cars together. Winry had a lot of fun bumping around, and really wanted to go again later, but we couldn't find anyone to join in with her. All in all we had a lot of fun at the arcade, and Winry got to try a lot of new games.
Grayson brought these felt gingerbread houses to church, and as soon as we sat down he pulled them out and I helped him spread them out, they even stick onto the backrest. Gingerbread this bench for days!!
