Lemonade Stand

Lemonade stand day!  The girls spent a lot of time this week working on flyers, promoting on social media, and handing out flyers at dance and around the neighborhood.  The turnout was great.  A lot of people came and the girls had a superb time out there.  Winry kept hopping on her bike and riding up and down the street to find people to invite over.  Not only did they have a great time, but they were also very successful.  Hopefully this didn't give them unrealistic expectations for future lemonade stands.

Dance recital is next week, so for class this week the kids were supposed to come dressed and ready for the recital.  Monday was ballet, and once they were ready they still had a little time to read before they had to go.

Apparently Grayson is shooting to sleep everywhere possible in this house.  Winry's bunkbed and the stairs last week, Brooke's bed this week!  It does look really cozy in there, so I can't really blame him.

Looks like Monica took the kids out for donuts.  I don't know what the occasion was, but it's donuts, you don't actually need an occasion!

Monica and the kids found themselves at the park, and there was a pretty good climbing tree there.  We made a bucket list for this summer, and one of our goals is to spend a lot of time outside, and another was to climb a tree, so check those both off the list!

I helped the kids fill up water balloons for a water balloon fight.  I think we probably should have put a little more water in the balloons in hindsight.  We used those quick filling water balloons, and I think you can just fill them until they fall off, but the kids told me we were supposed to shake them off.  Anyway, they didn't always pop when tossed.  The girls squeezed and popped them over their heads as well, and Grayson was doing something with them and the basketball hoop.

Friday night the girls did preparations for the lemonade stand.  They made all the lemonade, which  meant juicing the lemons.  The lemonade was SOOO good too!  Yum!  It's too bad we sold so much, cause I'd love to drink some more.  They also made rice crispy treats to go along with the lemonade.

Saturday afternoon we took the girls to Target so they could spend their lemonade money.  They both ended up picking out a new doll, and have been having fun with them since.  Winry picked twin babies, and they've been everywhere with her since!
